Nelly is a highly experienced photographer who is dedicated to capturing your personality in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

She has studied photography at the " Royal Academy of Arts" in The Haque for 4 years.

My aim is to take beautiful everlasting photographs of your family, to capture moments of your child and turn them into fine art portraits.

Frequently asked questions

What location should I choose?  

There are many locations to consider when organising your photoshoot. 

In the comfort of your own home, the photographer can use a mix of available daylight and studio lights to create memorable portraits that reflect your personal life style.

A favourite beach or park is a great choice for a location shoot, they provide beautiful backdrops and can often have a special meaning to you.

Palm Beach, Bilgola Beach and Church point are popular choices.

What to wear?

You and your family are the main focus in your portrait session.We recommend neutral colours, like beige, grey, black and white. Ton-sur-ton often works quite well as do denim jeans and plain tops. Stay away from printed brand names, stripes or bold prints, as they are distracting.

Who can be in the shoot?

There is no limit to the number of people at the shoot, however one family per session is most popular as the photographer can maximise shooting time. Allow at least one hour.Family pets are also a great idea to include in your portrait session.

How to pose?

My aim is to take natural photographs, but with a background in fashion and commercial photography, I am more then happy to give you a few tips in how to pose naturally and look the best in your photographs.

What happens after the shoot?

When you book your portrait shoot date we will also arrange a Portrait viewing session with you approximately 10 days after the shoot. Here you will see your photo's in a slide show presentation and be informed of print, book and framing options.
